Elevations supplies were birthed in 2018 (no pun intended) in a theatre operating room when Charlene, who is a professional nurse, was part of a surgical team during an orthopaedic procedure. The surgeon pointed out that there is a need for more cost-and-time-effective products, for example: skin and tissue protection devices for feet and ankles during hip scopes. Charlene discussed the idea with Anton who assisted with the
startup, and the rest as they say is history. Samples were made and tested by the surgeon supporting the idea and today we have a refined product called SurgiBoot used on the traction table for example during a supine arthroscopy procedure of the hip (Scope) / Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) used to treat femoral neck fractures, etc. Today we manufacture and supply a variety of products, manufactured locally, saving costs and delays in deliveries.
